Most UiPath programs do not fall apart in Studio. They fall apart four months after go-live, when a vendor portal pushes a UI refresh, nine unattended jobs start failing on broken selectors, and nobody can say whether the fix belongs to your team or the firm that built the workflows. That handoff is what you are actually buying when you hire a UiPath partner. The build is the easy part.
License spend and services spend are linked too. A partner who sizes your robot mix badly, or never tells you a process belongs in Document Understanding rather than a brittle screen-scraping workflow, costs you on both sides of the ledger for years. The firms below all do genuine UiPath work, at very different points on the size and specialization curve.
How to Evaluate a UiPath Consulting Partner
Partner tier tells you about a firm’s revenue relationship with UiPath. It tells you almost nothing about who will show up on your project. Push on these instead.
Certified developers, and whether they are yours
Ask for the names and certification dates of the people assigned to your engagement, not the firm-wide count. Large firms often win the deal with senior architects and staff it with juniors. Get the named team into the statement of work, with a replacement clause.
Coverage of the UiPath products you will actually use
Studio and Orchestrator are table stakes. Differentiation shows up elsewhere. If your processes are invoice-heavy or claims-heavy, ask about real Document Understanding builds, including model retraining and human validation queues in Action Center. If you plan to automate regression testing, ask about Test Suite. If you want a pipeline of ideas rather than a one-off project, ask whether they have stood up Automation Hub with real intake governance. Apps, Process Mining, and Task Mining each demand separate skills.
Discovery, or order taking
A partner who automates exactly what you hand them will happily automate a bad process. Ask what discovery looks like before a single workflow is built, and whether they will tell you when a process should be fixed or replaced by an API integration instead. If the answer is vague, you are hiring a development shop, not a consultancy.
Licensing guidance
Attended robots, unattended robots, developer seats, Automation Cloud versus a self-hosted Orchestrator, and consumption based products all price differently. A partner should model your robot mix before you sign a UiPath order form and be candid when a cheaper configuration will do. Some firms resell UiPath licenses, which is fine as long as you know it.
Support and bot maintenance
Get specific. Ask who monitors Orchestrator queues, what the response time is on a failed job at 2am, who patches robots when UiPath ships a new version, and what happens to your automations if you end the relationship. Ask whether maintenance is a fixed fee, a ticket pool, or time and materials.
Industry familiarity and delivery mix
A firm that has automated three-way match in a distribution ERP will move faster on yours. Ask for the process, not just the logo. Get the onshore and offshore split in writing, including overlap hours, because two hours of overlap changes how you run stand-ups and UAT.
Change resilience
The single best question: when a source application changes and bots break, what happens? Strong answers involve resilient selector strategy, a shared object repository, reusable components, and monitoring that alerts before the business notices. Weak answers involve a change request form.
If the platform is not settled, compare this field against the Power Automate consulting companies and Automation Anywhere consulting firms serving the same buyers, since partner economics and support models differ by platform.
The Partners
1. Xcelacore, UiPath partner with a discovery first approach
Xcelacore is a technology consulting and software development firm headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, in the Chicago metro area, and a UiPath partner. What separates it from pure-play RPA shops is the surrounding capability. A bot that reconciles orders usually needs an integration, a small internal application, or a data cleanup effort beside it, and Xcelacore’s custom software development team sits alongside its RPA practice.
The method is process discovery first. Before workflows get built, the work is mapped, questioned, and in some cases redesigned or handed to an integration rather than a robot. That produces fewer, more durable automations instead of a long list of fragile ones.
The QA testing and automation practice matters more than it sounds. Teams that already build automated test suites think about selectors, environments, and regression differently, and that discipline is what keeps bots alive when source systems change.
Industry work spans manufacturing and distribution, fintech, healthcare, hospitality, and e-commerce, and clients cite forecasting and delivering on time and in scope.
Best for: mid-market organizations wanting UiPath work delivered alongside custom development, integration, and QA automation.
2. Ashling Partners, Diamond tier intelligent automation specialist
Ashling is a UiPath specialist recognized at the top of the partner program, describing itself as an inaugural Diamond tier partner and citing more than 270 UiPath certifications plus Partner of the Year awards in 2022 and 2024. It also holds a UiPath 2025 Fast Track Partner Badge of Distinction in agentic automation.
The practice is built around advisory and implementation rather than staffing bodies against a backlog: process intelligence up front, then delivery, then the operating model that keeps a program running after the first wave. Ashling also acquired Reveal Group, another long-standing top-tier UiPath partner, consolidating a large amount of enterprise delivery experience under one roof.
Where they fit: enterprises building or rescuing a center of excellence with a partner devoted entirely to intelligent automation.
3. Roboyo, global automation and agentic AI consultancy
Roboyo is a global enterprise automation firm structured around four pillars: advisory, diagnostic, realization, and enablement. It works across multiple automation vendors, with UiPath among its core technology partnerships, and was the first UiPath partner globally to hold business, training, and technology partner status at once. It won UiPath’s 2025 Transformation Impact Partner of the Year award.
The multi-vendor position is the point. If you are not certain UiPath is right for every use case, or you already run a mixed estate, Roboyo is not structurally biased toward one answer. It covers process mining, intelligent document processing, conversational AI, low-code, and test automation, plus managed services and training across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.
Best for: multinational programs, mixed-vendor estates, and buyers wanting strategy and change enablement bundled with delivery.
4. Auxis, nearshore delivery with a Diamond partnership
Auxis is a UiPath Diamond Partner and a subsidiary of Grant Thornton Advisors. Its distinguishing feature is the delivery model: a hybrid onshore and nearshore mix using certified professionals in the United States and Latin America, including Costa Rica, Colombia, and Mexico. For US buyers that means real time zone overlap without full onshore rates, a practical answer to the UiPath developer shortage.
The service range covers automation assessments, center of excellence build and scale, implementation, 24/7 managed services, and citizen developer enablement. Stated platform coverage includes intelligent document processing, process and communications mining, Test Suite, and agentic automation. Auxis also runs finance and IT outsourcing engagements, so automation candidates often surface inside processes it already operates.
Where they fit: finance, healthcare, retail and CPG, manufacturing, and restaurant teams that also outsource finance or IT operations.
5. Accelirate, Diamond partner with a managed operations focus
Accelirate is a UiPath Diamond Partner and a recognized Agentic Automation Fast Track Partner, one of fewer than 50 UiPath Diamond Partners worldwide. The portfolio runs from process and task mining through document processing, implementation, and test automation, and UiPath has publicly highlighted the relationship for turnkey enterprise delivery.
The piece worth attention is the Robotic Operations Center, a managed service for running automations after go-live. Firms that operate bots at scale for other people tend to build better bots, because they inherit the consequences of fragile design. Ask what that operations center monitors and how exceptions route back to the business.
Best for: buyers wanting implementation and ongoing bot operations from one firm, especially with document-heavy backlogs.
6. WonderBotz, pure-play automation services with prebuilt accelerators
WonderBotz is a pure-play intelligent automation services firm and a UiPath partner. Its delivery model is accelerator-led: published prebuilt assets cover invoice processing, reconciliation, sales order processing, and cash application, alongside a named product called ETL Essentials, so common finance workflows start from working patterns instead of a blank canvas.
Stated product coverage is broad: Studio, Robot, Action Center, AI Center, Document Understanding, Test Suite, Process and Task Mining, and newer agentic components. The firm also runs a managed service covering orchestration and ongoing maintenance of automations already in production. Functional depth sits in finance processes such as order to cash and procure to pay, plus IT operations testing and supply chain.
Where they fit: finance and shared services groups that want proven accelerators applied to order to cash and procure to pay work.
7. CGI, global integrator with a Diamond UiPath practice
CGI holds Diamond Partner status with UiPath and is certified as a Professional Services Partner and a Fast Track Partner for agentic AI. It was named UiPath 2024 Worldwide and EMEA Industry Solutions Partner of the Year, and states more than 1,000 trained RPA professionals across 12 or more global centers of excellence.
Delivery runs from discovery using UiPath process and task mining, through implementation on an agile DevOps model, into Accel360, a managed hyperautomation service folding OCR, NLP, and machine learning in alongside RPA. Industry depth is notable in life sciences and in public sector work where CGI’s own ERP products are already in play.
Best for: regulated enterprises and government agencies needing scale, security review, and long-term operations.
8. Cognizant, large-scale UiPath service line
Cognizant is a UiPath strategic partner with a dedicated service line covering a full range of IT and consulting services on the platform. It was named UiPath 2022 Partner of the Year for BPO and Managed Services, both globally and in the Americas, and UiPath has published case studies on Cognizant’s own internal automation program alongside client work in healthcare.
The case for a firm this size is reach. If your program has to touch a global ERP rollout, a managed application estate, and a BPO relationship at once, one accountable party reduces finger pointing. The tradeoff is the usual one: you have to name the delivery team and hold a large firm to a mid-sized scope.
Where they fit: global enterprises folding UiPath into an existing managed services or application outsourcing relationship.
9. R Systems, software engineering firm with a Diamond UiPath practice
R Systems is a UiPath Diamond Partner and a recognized Agentic Automation Fast Track Partner. It describes itself as a software engineering and digital transformation services partner, working globally across AI, data, and automation-led transformation programs.
The engineering heritage is the differentiator. Automation programs stall because the underlying data is bad, the integration layer does not exist, or the application being automated should have been modernized instead. A firm whose core business is software engineering is likelier to say so and more capable of doing that surrounding work.
Best for: organizations where UiPath work overlaps with data platform or application modernization initiatives.
10. Damco Group, authorized UiPath partner for mid-market delivery
Damco is an authorized UiPath partner offering process discovery, consulting, development, implementation, managed services, and ongoing support. Stated platform coverage includes Studio, Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Test Manager, and AI Center, a broader slice of the product line than many firms this size can genuinely staff. Industry exposure spans automotive, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, energy and utilities, insurance, and hi-tech, with 24/7 support.
For a mid-market buyer, the practical question here is team continuity. Ask who leads the engagement, how many developers are dedicated versus shared, and what the escalation path looks like when a production bot fails outside business hours.
Where they fit: mid-market teams with a defined backlog wanting broad UiPath coverage without integrator pricing.
Making the Choice Without Guessing
Shortlist three firms, not eight, then make each one do the same small piece of real work before you commit.
Start with a paid discovery on two or three processes you already suspect are candidates, and give every firm the same inputs. What comes back tells you almost everything: whether they questioned any of the processes, whether they proposed an integration instead of a bot anywhere, whether the estimate has a maintenance line, and whether the person who wrote it will build it.
Then pin down four things in writing. The named delivery team with certifications and a replacement clause. The license model they recommend and why, with the alternative they rejected. The support agreement, covering response times, monitoring ownership, and maintenance cost after year one. And the exit terms: who owns the source, where the object repository lives, and what a transition back to your team involves.
One more filter. Ask each firm about a UiPath implementation that went badly and what they changed afterward. Anyone with real production experience has one. Firms that cannot produce a story have not been doing this long enough.
If UiPath is not yet locked in, the broader RPA companies guide covers the field across vendors and can help you frame the platform decision before you commit to a partner.
