Caribe Royale Orlando is a resort and convention center located just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World. The resort offers 1,217 one-bedroom suites, 120 newly renovated two-bedroom villas, a tropical pool with waterfalls and 75-foot waterslide, and more than 240,000 square feet of meeting space.
Business Challenge
Like many hospitality organizations, Caribe Royal found their manual financial processes and reporting to be inefficient and time consuming. Team members dedicated many hours of their day interacting with ERP, PMS and POS systems and then manually running Excel Macros to generate crucial reports only for errors and inaccuracies to be prevalent. The Caribe Royale team was eager to find a more streamlined solution that would save their employees time and resources.
How Xcelacore Solved The Challenge
With our experience solving similar challenges for our client Great Wolf Lodge, our team presented an existing solution that matched the vast majority of Caribe Royale’s needs. Over the course of 2-3 months, our team developed a scalable product with the ability to integrate data from multiple systems (Agilisys, Oracle Opera PMS, Prophix, and Starbucks POS), and apply configurable business-rule transformations to generate key revenue and performance reports. The processed data is securely stored in a cloud-based platform like Azure and made available for advanced analytics. This enables stakeholders to generate actionable insights that support informed, data-driven business decisions.
